Assuta Medical Centers chooses the innovative Tafnit ERP system from Matrix to provide a comprehensive solution for financial, logistic, and administrative management at all its hospitals.
The Client
Assuta Medical Centers provides medical services all over Israel through private hospitals and institutions specializing in imaging, cardiology, dialysis, women's health, and other medical disciplines. Assuta facilities use the most advanced technologies and employ senior surgeons and leading specialists in their fields in Israel.
The Challenge
Assuta needed a system with proven performance that could fully integrate with several clinical, image management, laboratory, and operational systems already functioning at its six hospitals, as well as with their existing CRM system.
The Solution
Assuta adopted the Tafnit ERP system because of its ability to provide a comprehensive solution for hospital management - financial, logistic, and administrative - with complete integration of the existing operational and clinical systems already serving several hundred users at the Assuta hospitals. Tafnit has a long successful track record and dozens of installations at hospitals and medical centers in Israel and abroad.
Tafnit provides up-to-date current status information in real-time about the activity at all medical centers to all levels of medical management. The advanced Tafnit work environment enables management to obtain the necessary information in real-time. Managers can exercise better control over changing data and provide a more adequate response. Tafnit ensures operational flexibility, efficient use of human resources, time savings, and helps deliver better services to the organization and to the customers.
According to Bruno Lavie, Assuta CIO, "this is a comprehensive system that centralizes all the information about the hospital's resources and its financial and operational processes. The Tafnit system installed at Assuta implements the complete ERP approach in the hospitals, as it is customary today in Europe and the US."
Prof. Yair Shapira, Assuta CEO, notes that "the computerization project opens a new technology era at Assuta, which enters the 21st century as a leader of technological progress and service orientation in medical institutions in Israel."
